The 9th meeting of INTER+VALUE Book Club – inter+café #9 – will then be devoted to the book Encabanée by Gabrielle Filteau-Chiba.

On Saturday, March 22, 2025, the inter+value Printonale® or Spring “Conviviale” took place around two themes – Italy and the Women’s Rights Movement – in collaboration with the Aria Nova association.

In a warm and friendly atmosphere filled with good food, games, and cultural exchange, the latest edition of inter+value’s now-traditional Printonale® brought people together for a joyful and meaningful day.

After a late morning dedicated to the 7th meeting of the Book Club, focused on Madelaine avant l'aube, a powerful novel by Sandrine Collette exploring women’s resilience and survival in a rural, still-feudal world, participants gathered at the Maison Internationale de Rennes (MIR) for inter+CLaC#3, the third edition of inter+value’s intercultural encounters.

This edition celebrated Italian culture, starting with a tasting and sale of high-quality olive oil directly imported from Campania. Then it was time to enjoy a shared meal, with guests bringing a variety of dishes inspired by Italian cuisine (piadine, pizza, salads, tiramisu...).

Between the tastings and the film screening, Sokha Bournak, from the DUDIWAN association, led a lively interlude with intercultural games (Kosmopoli:t, City Guesser).

The fourth highlight of the day was the film screening of Gloria! (106 min), an Italian-Swiss production directed by Margherita Vicario and released in 2024. The film humorously follows a group of music-loving young women living in a Venetian convent around the year 1800.

After the film, there was more discussion over an apéro, that brought this rich and friendly event to a close, featuring drinks and other Italian specialties!
