INTER+VALUE presents three books on the Trás-os-Montes (northeast Portugal) published as part of the Confluences & Frontiers project:

- TRÁS-OS-MONTES album, by Eduardo Perez Sanchez. A stunning collection of black-and-white photographs taken in the 1980s in northeast Portugal, along the border with Galicia. Trás-os-Montes is a land of mountains, high plateaux and valleys, home to a multitude of villages built in granite or schist, now largely deserted, but once densely populated.

- MUSEU ETNOLÓGICO JOSÉ QUINA catalogue (José Quina Ethnological Museum). An extraordinary private collection of everyday rural objects from the 20th century. From farming tools and typewriters to household items, bicycles and radio, this catalogue will stir memories in some, spark the curiosity of newcomers, and delight all those with a passion for culture and heritage.

- TERRAS DE VIMIOSO, SUAS GENTES E COSTUMES album (Vimioso region, its People and Customs), by Eduardo Perez Sanchez. A rich series of colour photographs taken in 2023-2024 in the municipality of Vimioso and its 22 localities. The local heritage is well documented: historic buildings (churches, residences, castles, bridges, fountains, etc.), seasonal colours of the landscape, municipal facilities, native breeds of domestic animals, festivals and celebrations of all kinds, and the wealth of traditional crafts and gastronomy.
